For Thai-language documents and any translation a case officer might request — Tabien Baan (household registration), marriage certificates, birth certificates, family statements, police clearances — we coordinate NAATI-certified Thai translators and handle the document side end-to-end. The translation work is billed at the standard NAATI rate, separate from our professional fee, so there's no margin sitting on top.

• Onshore Subclass 820 / 801 where the partner is already in Australia on another visa

Common patterns we see in Thai-Australian partner-visa cases

Most Thai-Australian partner-visa cases are 309 (offshore) applications where the Australian sponsor has visited Thailand multiple times and the relationship has developed over a period of years. The strongest cases have clear evidence across:

Multiple visits with documented travel. Passport stamps, flight tickets, hotel bookings, photographs from each visit. Sponsor visits to Thailand are often the single strongest piece of evidence in these cases — they demonstrate sustained commitment to maintaining the relationship across borders during the years before the visa enables the applicant to relocate.

Money transfers between the couple. Western Union, Wise, bank transfers from sponsor to applicant. Especially relevant where the sponsor has been financially supporting the applicant or contributing to shared expenses during the pre-grant period.

Ongoing communication. LINE, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, video calls. Daily or near-daily communication patterns across the relationship are very strong evidence of genuine, continuing connection. Long stretches of silence in the messaging history are exactly the kind of inconsistency case officers look for.

Family knowledge of the relationship. Statutory declarations from the applicant's Thai family and the sponsor's Australian family, photographs from family meetings, evidence that both families know and acknowledge the relationship.

Plans for life in Australia. Joint plans, housing intentions, work arrangements for the applicant after arrival, plans for any children.

We help organise the evidence so each pillar is covered. Strong evidence at lodgement reduces the chance of a "request for further information" notice — which itself can add 4-8 weeks to processing.
